Join the Delaware Living Shorelines Committee for the second webinar in the series by Alison Rogerson from DNREC that introduces coastal erosion, forms of shoreline hardening, what is a living shoreline, and types of and materials used in shoreline stabilization. If you are a landowner or beginning your career in living shorelines than this introduction is for you.
Presenter: Alison Rogerson is an Environmental Scientist for the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Watershed Stewardship, Watershed Assessment and Management Section in Dover, Delaware. Alison is the co-chair of the Delaware Living Shoreline Committee and the lead scientist for the Wetland Monitoring and Assessment Program. Alison helps both groups promote living shorelines to address coastal issues through research, education and demonstration.
